Our Mission:

"To serve AMTA members while advancing the art, science and practice of massage therapy."

Welcome, Today Is

We've Got You Covered

Let's face it - worring about insurance policies isn't what you had in mind when you decided to be a massage therapist. But, it's one of the most essential things you need in your career. Look no further than AMTA. We've done our homework and put together one of the broadest liability policies in the business- and it's automatically included with your membership!

AMTA helps protect you against loss from a lawsuit. You get a Professional and General Liability insurance policy backing you with $6,000,000 aggregate coverage per year and up to $2,000,000 per single occurrence.

The powerful combination of these two types of insurance gives you peace of mind and real protection against potentially devastating legal problems. AMTA's insurance benefit is just one more reason why AMTA membership is a smart move for you, your career, and your financial well-being.

Professional Liability Insurance provides valuable protection against lawsuits. These suits may allege that services rendered were not within the scope of "accepted practice", were not performed when necessary or performed incorrectly, thereby rendering injury.

General Liability Insurance protects you against slip-and-fall type liability for claims arising from bodily injury, property damage, and non-professional incidents. Also included in our General Liability protection is fire-legal liability for property damage to premises rented to you for performing massage therapy services. Property damage, arising from a fire for which you are legally liable, applies to the building only.

You also receive free Additional Insured Coverage. This extension is applicable when contracts you have with facilities require you to add these institutions as additional insureds.
