Hello colleagues, peers and friends. I am incredibly humbled by the opportunity to serve as the president of the Florida chapter of AMTA. While holding a massage therapy license for almost 18 years, I have been fortunate enough to work in many wonderful places which gave me experience in a great number of fantastic modalities. In addition to these paid opportunities, I have also donated hundreds of hours of work by providing therapeutic massage to community members who may not have had the financial ability or means to pay. Since receiving my massage education, I have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management. These work experiences and education have helped to prepare me for this amazing journey of leading a great team of chapter board members and committee chair volunteers. I couldn’t be more ecstatic.
My goal is to promote and foster the humanistic element of this beautiful profession one person at a time. Each of us have the ability to change lives, and I think it’s our responsibility to do so in a positive way.
Let’s make a difference!
